Worship Services cancelled for the next two weeks.

 TO ALL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 

A decision has been reached to cancel Sunday worship services for March 15 and 22. At that time, any further cancellations will be reassessed. In addition, during the next 2 weeks, there will be no Logos sessions, bible study or prayer meetings at the church. During this time, the church office will remain open.  Game night for Friday, March 20 has been cancelled. Movie Night for Sunday, March 22 as well. Look for future dates. Session is still planning to meet Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 pm.

This decision was not reached lightly and is following a recommendation of Governor Whitmer, who requested that organizations such as churches not hold events with 100 or more persons when those attending would be of “high risk”, such as those with health problems or those of us over 70.  

Please keep in touch with other members during this uncertain time. We should all be mindful of the needs of our members as we travel through these uncharted waters.
