Spencer has provided the following information for our next Faith & Flicks which will take place on Tuesday, December 14 at Adrian First United Methodist Church (now that we are ecumenical) at 7pm.

Our film will be “The Christmas Story”. This 22-minute film is a narrative about the nativity as seen from the vantage point of a deformed shepherd Simon, who is exiled from worship at the temple by priests who see his deformity as a sign of spiritual uncleanliness. 

This film was the pilot for the acclaimed series “The Chosen” about the life and times of Jesus as seen by his contemporaries. We will view the film together in Rm 5 (enter by the southeastern door at the front side of the church) and discuss it. If you have Amazon Prime, “The Chosen” series is included in your membership (but not this pilot).
